He’s Singaporean, she’s German, they met in Australia. Doesn’t get more international than this! Raj & Angela had their traditional Hindu ceremony in the morning at Sri Mariamman Temple before their dinner reception at Straits Room, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore.
It was our first time covering a wedding here! Love the modern-looking buildings. The bungalow just beside the wedding hall is a convenient luxury for wedding preparations and solemnisation. And as a bonus, it’s a 10-minutes walk to the beach!
This wedding was held over two days. The first day involved just the bride. She had intricate henna work done on her hands and arms before having a bangle ritual with close family members. The second day was when the traditional Sikh wedding was held at Central Sikh Temple.
The groom did the silat for his bride today! Check it out below!
What a beautiful beach wedding it was! Holding a wedding by the beach is always a challenge in a tropical country like Singapore. We’re all glad Mr. Sun kept smiling that day!
This was a Hindu traditional wedding held at Sri Vairavimada Kaliamman Temple in Toa Payoh. The bride is the sister of a past client. Always loved seeing familiar faces!
It was a pleasure covering the launch of 10 Square @ Orchard Central.
Originally a car park, the space housing the new 10 Square @ Orchard Central arts training centre was developed by The RICE Company. The space combines traditional arts spaces with leading age arts technology that will define tomorrow’s creative arts industries.
Had to run away from the storm to conduct today’s lesson. When in doubt, go East!
Who said red is the colour of love? -Tiffany & Co. We just love it whenever colours of a wedding are well thought of. This wedding was filled with Tiffany Blue and Whites all over. We shot the wedding of Azean, Nysha’s sister a couple of years back. It was really nice seeing past clients a few years later with a baby in their arms! Credits to Versari Ade for the make-up and outfits.
Salleh & Nur have been friends since they were in Secondary School. “It took some time for the stars to align but they eventually did and it was amazing because we had this foundation of friendship and trust to build our love and lives upon.”, said Salleh. He proposed with a room filled with flowers and balloons; each balloon had a picture of a significant moment in our relationship.
This is probably the cutest thing that we have captured! It was a play performed by the students of One World International School. Our videographers couldn’t stop smiling while documenting the whole event. Kudos to the students and teachers for this hilarious performance!
It was our first time shooting at these locations. And wow, we were amazed by the relaxed atmosphere at Customs House. You can tell that Afzal and Nuris pay close attention to the finest details. Everything about this wedding is just so beautiful!
We love natural light! This function room in Royal Plaza on Scotts has natural light flowing from all directions. Double thumbs-up! Mahroof and Leena had an unconventional wedding cake circled with macarons. We really had to restrain ourselves while taking photos of it. 😛 We did a short photoshoot session on the beautiful, half-spiral stairs at the lobby right after the wedding.
KZ and Susan are so camera-friendly. It makes our job a little easier! They are smiling and laughing 90% of the time. Sometimes a little too much (hehe). As a Chinese wedding tradition, KZ arrived at Susan’s place in the early morning, brought her to his place and perform the tea ceremony. They then had their solemnisation in a private room at Traders Hotel before heading to the grand ballroom for the wedding reception. What a joyous occasion. You could literally see a smile on everyone’s face!
Ivan is a Hong-Konger and Brynn is Canadian. They both have roots here in Singapore, hence, a destination wedding! Some of the guests flew in just to see them get married! (Aww…) It’s hard to find a wedding venue that beats Equinox, Swissotel. The restaurant has full-sized glass windows that overlooks this beautiful city. We’ve mentioned before how much we love natural light! We were granted access to the rooftop of Swissotel for an hour’s photoshoot. The view up there is just out of this world. It was the tallest hotel in the world when it was built in 1986.
