Overseas Photoshoot in New Zealand: Ariff & Aqilah
It’s our first time shooting here and we were completely blown away by the gorgeous landscapes.

Ethiopian clients took their wedding dress halfway round the globe for a shoot in Singapore! Exotic much?
They say first love is the deepest. Roy & Ema met in school when they were just 15. They were also working part time in the same building back then. This was where smiles turned into hellos and byes and ultimately, text messages and phone calls. They got married on their 10th year together. What a milestone.
He’s Portugese and she’s Indonesian. They met in Singapore years ago and this is where they decided to get married. I know, it’s one of those love stories that makes you go awww. We did a few more family photography sessions with them since and became friends! They invited me to their farewell lunch party in Mamanda and in a family trip to Adventure Cove Waterpark! Mona lost all her family members in the 2004 Tsunami in Aceh, Indonesia and only has one sister and a niece to call family. The couple has since migrated to Switzerland for good. It was so depressing seeing them off at the airport last month. Simplifai Studios wishes you guys the best of times together 10,000km away. Stay warm this winter! <3
Our team had a lot of fun covering the wedding of a naturally-happy couple that is Nazri and Fadillah. The night photoshoot at Gardens by the Bay was pretty challenging. But hey, we’re glad that it was done just before the haze season kicked in, phew!
We’ve been selected again for a feature on Her World Brides Singapore for our coverage of the wedding of Alif & Liza! The magazines are out in stores today. Vendor credits below. Thank you to everyone involved!
Looking to hold your wedding at a unique venue that offers a halal menu? Look no further than Gurame Indonesia Restaurant. Abdillah & Liyana held their private solemnisation at home one day before the wedding reception. They booked a couple of rooms at Capri by Fraser for the bridal make-up and bridesmaids and groomsmen to gather. We feel that this is a great idea especially because the wedding venue is only about 10-minutes drive away. We had fun capturing every tiny details in this wedding and not forgetting the impromptu photoshoot right at the end!
We are really honoured to make the list of the Top 100 Wedding Photographers in Singapore by Kiasu Bride! We also had a feature on the Top 25 Wedding Photos list by Kahwin Singapura recently. It always gives you the extra bit of energy to keep on improving your work when they are recognised. Thank you wedding vendors, wedding blogs, clients and friends! 🙂
Proud to have a four-page feature on Her World Brides Singapore of Singapore Press Holdings! Get your copy today! Fellow wedding vendors, we got you guys credited as well. 🙂
Who said that Singapore doesn’t have a quiet place for a wedding? After their solemnisation (nikah) at Assyafaah Mosque, we did a short photoshoot with the groomsmen and bridesmaids at Sungei Buloh Nature Reserves before proceeding to Gardenasia for the wedding reception. Gardenasia is tucked in the north-western region of this island. Away from the noisy highways and crazy human traffic, this place is surrounded by farms! We would jump at the next opportunity to shoot a wedding here again.
It is always a great sight seeing a multi-racial group of people in a joyous gathering. Their Nalungu ceremony, an Indian tradition, was held at Rubhinni’s home in Singapore. It was a night of fun and laughter, even for the photographer! This Singapore-Australian wedding reception was held the next day in a grand ballroom at Holiday Inn Orchard. We’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking!
“Oh I think that I’ve found myself a cheerleader”, said the Groom. No, really, Maisarah was a cheerleader when these love birds met some 8 years back! Their wedding was a really private and personal one where only the people closest to them were invited. I noticed so much love every time someone goes up to congratulate the couple!
This was probably one of the most chillax wedding we’ve ever been assigned to. Tamarind Hill Restaurant, tucked along Labrador Hill, holds a really nice ambience. Coupled with an acoustic band playing in the background, you’d be able to smell the peace, love and happiness in the air!
Firuz & Nadiah are police officers! Can’t help but feel safe at their wedding. Ha! It was a two-days affair featuring the animated Kadi Hassan as the Solemniser. We did a mini photoshoot at Gardens by the Bay straight after the wedding reception.
Off we were to Bali again! This place never fails to amaze me with its versatility for Bridal Photography. I mean, where else in the world can you find an abandoned Boeing 737? We were greeted by friendly kids during our photoshoot at a waterfall too! And, just look at the smiles on those Camels. Even the animals are friendlier here!
It’s always a pleasure covering a friend’s wedding. Rahman and Huda’s wedding was held at two separate locations, a void deck in Tampines and Warung in the East at ITE College East. There were plenty of dancing going on with the Arab side of the family in this lively buffet reception!
Alif and Liza are, believe it or not, next block neighbours! Despite residing so close to each other for over 10 years, they never knew each other on a personal level. Whenever they crossed paths, there were only brief exchanges, limited to just hellos and goodbyes along with shy smiles here and there.
Not everyone dare do a photoshoot in winter. The cold obviously didn’t bother Hanafi and Hyda! They got married a couple of days before the trip and invited us for a photoshoot before they began their honeymoon-ing there. We had LOTS of fun having snowball fights and embracing the busy streets of Tokyo. The Japanese are really friendly people. We would go back to Japan for another photoshoot in a heartbeat! Special thanks to Ashly D’Glamz for the make-up and outfits.
Who said red is the colour of love? -Tiffany & Co. We just love it whenever colours of a wedding are well thought of. This wedding was filled with Tiffany Blue and Whites all over. We shot the wedding of Azean, Nysha’s sister a couple of years back. It was really nice seeing past clients a few years later with a baby in their arms! Credits to Versari Ade for the make-up and outfits.
Salleh & Nur have been friends since they were in Secondary School. “It took some time for the stars to align but they eventually did and it was amazing because we had this foundation of friendship and trust to build our love and lives upon.”, said Salleh. He proposed with a room filled with flowers and balloons; each balloon had a picture of a significant moment in our relationship.
