Muslim Wedding in Singapore: Azad & Adah

Another childhood love story to continue from our post a couple of months ago! This one almost didn’t happen!

Azad and Adah were Primary School classmates. The love story didn’t start till about 6 years ago. The couple starting going out after Adah ended a 12-years relationship. They both never confessed their feelings for each other. Adah thought that Azad had no feelings towards her then. This led Adah’s friend to match-make another guy to Adah who ended up proposing to her! Well, we’re glad they sorted that out!

Arab Wedding at SIA Sports Club & Orchard Hotel: Salleh & Nur

Salleh & Nur have been friends since they were in Secondary School. “It took some time for the stars to align but they eventually did and it was amazing because we had this foundation of friendship and trust to build our love and lives upon.”, said Salleh. He proposed with a room filled with flowers and balloons; each balloon had a picture of a significant moment in our relationship.

Indian Wedding Reception at Royal Plaza on Scotts: Mahroof & Leena

We love natural light! This function room in Royal Plaza on Scotts has natural light flowing from all directions. Double thumbs-up! Mahroof and Leena had an unconventional wedding cake circled with macarons. We really had to restrain ourselves while taking photos of it. 😛 We did a short photoshoot session on the beautiful, half-spiral stairs at the lobby right after the wedding.

Muslim Wedding at Resorts World Sentosa: Nadir & Karshyga

She’s Kazakh, he’s Singaporean. Never have we seen such a diverse, international group of guests. This beautiful, multi-racial wedding was held at Equarius Hotel, Resorts World Sentosa. The Solemnisation was a private ceremony held at the Glass Pavilion while the reception was held in a grand ballroom in the hotel. It was an exciting day for us, seeing the fusion of Kazakh and Indian traditions!
